05/06/2009 The Swine Flu epidemic obviously is a concern from a public health perspective. The increasing prevalence is that a surrogate has not been tested for efficacy by any chemical including the technology used in JYMRSA chemical. What can JYMRSA say? It's a technology that has been tested and approved by the  Environmental Protection Agency EPA to be effective for influenza A and influenza B and by the efficacy of these two pathogens, the EPA has said that it can reasonably assume that JYMRSA technology will work to kill Avian Influenza flu virus, the Bird Flu. As it relates to Swine Flu, the Swine Flu and Avian Flu are different types of viruses and for us to say that JYMRSA might work with Swine Flu would not be appropriate at this time without testing further with a surrogate. What we can claim is what is on our label and approved by the EPA that our technology, when it comes to infectious diseases is very effective against the pathogens that are stated on our label.
